This is the kind of ham that early colonists to America dined on. It is a whole leg ham, with the bone in. As with our smaller hams, these hams don't come with any guilt, and that's hard to find these days. This could be the best ham you've ever had. Excellent flavor, not too salty, and very tender. This is a real ham. It's hickory smoked with completely non-chemical ingredients
The label comes marked "uncured," as USDA standards say hams are only "cured" if smoked with nitrates. Because we don't use chemical nitrates, the label says "uncured," but this is a smoked, fully cooked ham.
