The Alderspring dry-aged grass fed New York Strip Steak is one of the top three steaks we offer (the ribeye and tenderloin, or filet mignon, being the others). Cut from the loin, these New York steaks are the big boneless part of a porterhouse steak. This is the second thickest-cut steak we offer (the filet mignon is the thickest). As our leaner New York, this has a thinner fat rind along the edge, and less fat in the interior of the steak. The other important thing about our New York is that we test a New York from every beef we sell in order to ensure it meets our rigorous flavor and tenderness standards...any steaks that don't make the grade are pulled from our store. For you, this means a consistently excellent steak that is the result of 26 years of honing our craft.
Included in this pack are 2 leaner New York steaks of the size you choose, each individually vacuum packed. As always, these are dry-aged, 100% grass fed and finished, and antibiotic and hormone free. Although they're not certified organic, they are raised using the same protocols as our organic beef. Note that due to some variation, your steak may be slightly below or above the size specified. We'll refund you the difference if it's below. If above, you get that extra bit for free!
